Attack concerns slow Microsoft's pace (CNET)
Concerns about security are slowing down the development of a range of Microsoft products, according to senior vice president Bob Muglia. Most prominent among the delays are the new versions of Microsoft's SQL Server database and its Visual Studio developer tools. Despite the security issues, Microsoft will press on with its plans for the Longhorn version of Windows, Muglia said.
