MS CFO: Recovery under way
[The Associated Press]
Microsoft's CFO said that his company's better-than-expected earnings last quarter prove that the corporate recovery is under way. John Connors says he expects tech spending to keep rising over the next few months. Microsoft is pleased with the demand for PCs and servers, but analysts are a little less rosy than Redmond. They think that there is indeed a recovery under way, but that it won't benefit everyone.
Win4Lin -- a bridge between Windows and Linux
[CNET]
The CEO of a software company called NeTraverse thinks he can get Linux and Windows to play nice. The Austin, Texas-based company's Win4Lin (get it?) products let Linux-based PCs run Windows and Windows-based applications. The company hopes Win4Lin will create a win-win situation for companies moving from Windows to Linux.

The Missing Link: How deep is your love -- for your PC?
[The Register]
Have you ever seen someone hug a PC? If you do, don't call the police -- PC passion isn't all that peculiar, according to researchers at Penn State.
