If you're worried that students in the U.S. are losing their tech edge, this story should take your fears and fold them up in a nice little paper wrapper. A student at Carnegie Mellon University has developed a robot that can -- are you sitting down? -- do origami. It can already make hats and little planes and is trying to master the more complicated reverse folding and prayer folding skills. America may still have that tech edge, but origami professionals probably feel a little uneasy. What's next, a robot that bakes its own Shrinky Dinks?
