So far, so quiet -- you've been free to move about the cabin without having to listen to prattling passengers chat it up on their cell phones. But the era of the cell phone-free flight has begun its descent. Qualcomm and American Airlines, fresh off a test to see if cell phone use really does have an effect on a plane's navigational system, have proclaimed that in-flight cell phone use is about two years away. The screaming kids, snoring passengers and phony ("buh-bye") flight attendants are about to get some serious competition in the airline annoyance department.
