Dial 0802 311 1999 for murder?
[Agence France Presse]
Nigerians are afraid of getting calls from 0802 311 1999 and 0802 222 5999. Someone started a rumor that if you get a call from those numbers, your life will be disconnected. No one is sure where the hoax started or if caller ID shows "Reaper, Grim" when the call comes. Just to be safe, news outlets have advised nervous Nigerians to ignore calls from those numbers. Makes you wonder if some folks consider the movie The Ring
to be a documentary.
