In this day and age, you need an edge to stay marketable in the IT field. Keeping yourself well-versed and up-to-date on relevant Windows technology is a good first step. That is why we offer a fresh book excerpt on a new hot topic every week. As a bonus, we run Know-IT-All chapter quizzes where you can put your knowledge to the test and get a chance to win a free copy of that week's featured book. Check out this week's Featured Topic to read more about how the quizzes work.

Think of it as a sampler-platter: some weeks you gain insights into areas that may be outside your normal scope, other weeks you get to test your understanding and see how you measure up. You'd be surprised how many e-mails we get from people realizing they had let their skills grow obsolete without realizing it. Either way, you gain something each week.

But we want to hear from you as well. What topics are most interesting to you? Do you know a great book that we seem to have missed? Is there a way we can make the chapters and quizzes even better? Please take a minute and send us your suggestions. Remember, we're here for you, and your opinion counts.

    Regards,
    Matt Danielsson
