Microsoft's next OS will have IPv6 built in

A Microsoft executive speaking at the U.S. IPv6 Summit said the software maker will support the next-generation Internet protocol by default in its Longhorn operating system. Companies will also have the option of being able to shut off IPv4 and run Longhorn with IPv6 only, Microsoft said.
