TODAY'S WEBCASTS
It's easy for IT departments to be reactive when it comes to compliance. Straight answers are hard to find, and business owners and legal teams may ultimately determine the policy anyway - so you can wait to implement the technologies and policies to comply with their direction and the law.

Problem is, that won't work for long (if it does at all).

This webcast presents both tactical and strategic advice that can enable IT to lead the charge. Find out about solutions you can implement now that both address immediate compliance needs and act strategically to prepare for the future regulatory climate.

Compliance Systems That Work - How IT Leads the Organization
WHEN: TODAY! December 16, 2004 -- AVAILABLE ON DEMAND
SPEAKERS: Jeff Jinnett, Managing Director, Compliance Architech(TM), LLC
Jeff Bettencourt, Director of HP's Information Lifecycle Management group
SPONSOR :   Hewlett-Packard

ABOUT THE WEBCAST:
Increasingly stringent government regulations are forcing companies to reevaluate their document and record retention policies. While one time technology upgrades sometimes fix "the regulation of the week", many companies are beginning to realize that a more holistic solution is required for long term success. Understanding how business processes can be integrated with technology is key to developing a long term strategy for what will inevitably be a rapidly changing regulatory climate. A winning strategy requires goal setting and cooperation between IT and end user business functions.

New technologies are emerging specifically for making record retention and retrieval more cost effective. IT must make the important decisions on which existing systems can be used for compliance and when the ROI for new technologies is compelling enough to make a change.

Attend this webcast to:

  • Review current IT strategies and best practices that work in dealing with compliance
  • Find out how to address email security issues related to storing and retrieving sensitive data
  • Learn new, holistic systems that cross company stovepipes to reduce costs and improve effectiveness
  • Determine whether to adopt new technologies and where you can integrate existing systems to minimize incremental investments
  • Hear about new products from HP that can be turned into the catalyst for a complete compliance system
