There are two camps of thought in the issue of managing old user accounts: either all accounts should be kept forever, or they should be removed as soon as the account becomes obsolete. Either approach works, but both come with pros and cons. This article discusses the options.

Basic DNS records for DCs

When you install a domain controller, the Active Directory Wizard that performs the configuration and setup of the Active Directory structure will also register RR (resource record) and SRV (service record) records for the DC with DNS. Use this list of standard DNS records to compare and contrast your DNS configuration.
