Hi, seapigs! ;) I'm the new "Technical Editor" for the NumPy Documentation
Summer Marathon (and hopefully beyond). I was wondering if there'd be any
interest in having me give a 15-30 min. presentation (& recruitment) to the
group at the next meeting, about NumPy (a subset of SciPy and the current
standard module for numerics in Python), the Documentation effort in general
(for example, we have a really nice Django-based wiki set up to facilitate
docstring contributions from people, without proliferating SVN commit
privileges, among other nice features), and the Summer Marathon in particular.
And if there's anyone lurking on this list from the Portland PIG, the same
offer goes out to them. :-) All I ask is a minimum of one week's prior notice.
