That's quite kind of the Postgres group, and it would certainly be
logistically convenient.  The issue would then be the registration
fee.  If you can let us know as far in advance as possible what the
fee would likely be, we can see how the group and attendees feel about
it.

One idea would be to have two rates, one for the full conference and
one just for the Python Day. Especially if the Python Day only needs a
room for one day and the full conference is longer. But I'm not sure
if two classes of attendees would be fair to the organizers who'd have
to police it, although maybe just issuing different colored badges
would be sufficient.
