Randolph--

We found the space needle image by Jon Dugan that was used for a
previous promotion, and Chris Barker made a prototype Python Day
poster based on it. They are both posted to the seattle-python list.
So if you want to take these and modify them, feel free.

My own thoughts are that "Northwest Python Day" needs a more
decorative font. Actually, an art deco font would be cool. I'm not
sure about the superimposed Python logo in the bottom left, it might
look lost or cluttering against the skyscape. How about taking the
green "SeaPIG" text from the button (with a similar teletype/computer
font as it has now), and putting it in the bottom right of the poster.
Then we'd also have the beginning of a formal SeaPIG logo too.

The skyscape scene would make a good poster, but a flyer would need
space for text. We make it into a flyer by putting the skyscape and
logos in the bottom half of the page, keep the Northwest Python Day
title at the top, and add the text between them. Maybe the skyscape
can be squashed vertically without distortion.

I would still like a poster of the regular Python logo too, because I
think that will be useful ongoing.
