At the last meeting we discussed a field trip to Jigsaw Renaissance, a
kind of Saturday House++ on Capitol Hill. This would be basically to
see what it's like, and to offer a small Python Q&A or such if they're
interested. I wrote to the leaders, and they suggested Thursday,
September 23 or 30, at 7pm. Would one of those work for people? I
tried to schedule it halfway between our meetings to avoid too many
things back to back.

Lion Kimbro, one of Jigsaw Renaissance's core members, describes it
as, "Jigsaw Renaissance is a Learning & Making community. {:)}=
We make ourselves broadly available to society at large.
We align ourselves with the Open Source, Open Culture movements."
In other words, people teach each other what they know viz. academic
and trade skills, and they try to learn how things work and to build
everyday things that make the world a better place, and they ask about
things they need to learn (e.g., how to repair something) to see if an
expert is available.
