I asked my friend who was working with IronPython at Microsoft earlier
this year, and he said it's false. "It was a big blowup after a
developer left.  Turns out they are cranking out code left and right.
Get on the IronPython list it is a lot of fun."

I haven't used IronPython myself or know Microsoft intimately, so I
can't say for sure either way. Just pointing out there are multiiple
opinions on this.
