Hi SeaPIGS! I moved here a couple months ago from Vermont. I've landed a job building a Django web application for a startup and I've been coding in Python for about 6 years now. I've been going regularly to the Seattle Beer && Code, but it's currently dominated by Ruby devs and it gets a little lonely.
I look forward to meetings folks at the October meeting and would also be interested in more regular social meetups, if they're happening (or join me at http://seattle.beerandcode.org/). I'm disappointed I missed the last meeting, since I haven't yet been to the Elysian and would have enjoyed the Splunk demo and deployment topics. All the best, Alec
