Mike,
Add my name as an interested party should it develop further.
It will depend on date, time and what the focus becomes of such a
meeting.
What about doing an un-conference style gathering, where everyone is
expected to talk for at least 10 minutes about some useful topic to
the group?
Then those who have a longer presentation could become the main line
presenters.
This way it becomes give a little --- get a lot -- vs -- being a bump
on a log.
As everyone has something they can share on some level I would think
on one of the tracks that could develop that day.
Plus this adds a twist to it all to make people want to show up or
miss the Seattle Python Event of the year.

So when's the next Northwest Python Day?
We asked a couple months ago who would like to form a team to
organize
it, and nobody has volunteered yet.
I'm willing to help, but I'm stretched too thin to take primary
responsibility.
Thanks George, I've started a list of volunteers in case a critical
mass develops. We (the SeaPIG organizers) will get back to you if it
does.
