Terribly sorry old chap, but I'm from England, and it's bloody St
George's Day on Monday, and unlike you messy Americans we European types
don't mix eating with anything but strong drinks and good conversation.
Certainly not expensive laptops and fancy pocket computers. I can bring
some food (perhaps a side of beef and a pig's head), but I'll be eating
it at a table, with a napkin, my best chinaware, several shiny knives
and forks and a glass or two of of '88 German Riesling (although we won
the war, of course). Anyone with an ounce of civilization who shares an
equal reluctance to mix coding with eating is welcome to join me and my
butler. We'll be singing God Save the Queen at 7pm too.

Hi everyone,
Since this Monday's coding evening is 6pm-9pm and we'll all get
hungry, we're going to try a potluck format. Office Nomad's has a
kitchen we can use that includes dishes. We just have to cleanup
afterwards, do the dishes, etc.
So if you'd like to eat while you code, please bring a dish to share.
I'm not sure we need to be too formal about dividing up types of
dishes, but feel free to drop a note to the list indicating what you
plan to bring.
Jonathan says beer is OK too, so feel free to bring along beverages of
your choosing.
I'll be bringing a pasta cauliflower chickpea dish (vegan).
My best,
