crate.io is nothing more than a cleaner, more elegant, and user
friendly web design on top of the current pypi feed.
In the end it's just another "prettier resource" to find what you need.

A really good source worth looking into.
http://crate.io/
Crate is a new kind of Python package index of over 22,567 packages.
Enjoy!
Ok, I'll bite. How is this different than PyPi? Why would someone want
to use it over PyPi?
PyPi appears to have the exact same number of packages, so I'm
assuming
it's the same data, just a different web interface?
The website doesn't explain anything.
