The Seattle Python Meetup group has been in a holding pattern for over
6 months.
As the guy who is / was the organizer got a new job and was on over
load.
I just checked the meetup page and it looks like one of the new
members is trying to organize a meeting.
I recall Seapig has 300+ people on it's list.
Seattle Python meetup has 300+ people on it's list.
Seattle Django has a bunch of folks also.
Given all that we have a sizable Python community in Seattle.
But one that does communicate much between each group.
Maybe someday we can get all these groups talking more.
As the last joint meeting between Seattle Django and SeaPig was a
bunch of fun ..... but hey I am bit biased.
How I look at it is it's a good thing having more than 1 Python user
group in Seattle.
As then more folks have a better chance of getting to a the meeting
in a given month.
Don't forget there also is an Open Stack meetup group which has some
Python folks at them as well.
