However, it sounds like you're implying that to do that, my code would need to exploit an API into (at least) one of the VCS's regardless, and thus it could (indeed, would need to) interact with GPH via that "intermediary." (It would be nice if it could be less complicated than that, but then I guess if the user doesn't want VCS support, then they might as well be using Drive?)
