Someone can most likely help you. You need to do some things for us first
though. Set your email client to linewrap at 72 characters, and send
plain-text to the list only. Some of the people who can help you cannot
read your emails when they contain HTML codes.
Now, you also need to provide some information to us.
- Modem model number and manufacturer
- Have you verified that the modem works with another operating system?
- Have you verified that the modem works with Linux (Red Hat 6.2? 7.0?)
- Linux software that you are using to connect the modem to your ISP
- Linux software that you are using for web browsing
- Are you using a stock kernel that came with Red Hat?
Please send the answers to the above questions in your next email to the
list, and also perhaps include the exact error message you are receiving
when trying to browser the internet.
Thanks,
Ryan
