I doubt that your script is subject to copyright restrictions unless
you impose them. Just don't send the data with the script. Have the
script check to see if the appropriate files are present, and complain
if they aren't.
On the other tentacle, if you do want to include the data, look into
the shar utilities. You can use them to produce a shell script which
extracts the data from itself, and manipulates it as needed. It even
includes source for its own version of uudecode in case the target
computer doesn't have it. And compiles it on the fly if needed.
