There is a tab in the KPPP gui that lets you insert
pairs of EXPECT lines and SEND lines, etc. to form the
SCRIPT.

How do you know what to put in?  You have to connect a few times
with the "connection terminal" window to
note exactly what to EXPECT the isp to say (ie, the EXPECT entries),
and what you must SEND in return (ie the SEND entries).  

Don't be shy - just dive in with both feet and try stuff.
KPPP is about the nicest dialup setter-upper I have ever seen.
And that's saying alot since I usually prefer Gnome to KDE things.
This one is a winner - KPPP.

If all else fails, you could always get a normal ISP that
does the PAP protocol so you don't need a script.
