In the INSTALL file of the postgresql, it says inorder
to start postmaster, you must log in to the special
database user account. Does it meet that in order to
start the database server, I have to login as
postgres? I login as root to start postmaster, and su
to postgres, however, I'm not able to start the
database server. It says I have to login as a user.
I'm confuse now.
Thank you.
