how do I restore /dev/parport

as a newbie I messed with parport device printing the irqs directly into the 
parport device file
how do I MAKEDEV IT AGAIN

# ./MAKEDEV  -i parport
unrecognized macro at "c $KMEM                  1   1  1   1 mem"
this is what i get !!?
