Is there a version 2.0 or greater of the Maximum RPM book? I bought the
first version, and would like to know if there is something more
current. If not, is the online version at:
http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm/
The latest version?

I have a copy of "Maximum RPM" but it's for rpm version 2.x,
unfortunately. I believe that the online version of it at
http://www.rpm.org is close to current. I just wish that they'd take a
small break on updating rpm in order to let the book come out again and
there be some time for those of us who would like to build rpm's but
don't
have the time to jump in the deep end.
