I IMAP into our Exchange server. One difference (doesn't appear
configurable) is that the mail under IMAP stays on the servers. If I
read some mail under evolution, delete it, then boot into W2K and use
fire up Outlook, the same mail will transfer over. I know that IMAP was
supposed to supersede Pop as a message retrieval protocol.
