Re: 2.4.7 slowdowns

The only difference I see is a process "ksoftirqd_CPU0" running on 2.4.7
and not running on 2.4.6.
Read the source about ksoftirq, but it seems that has been around for a
while now (since 2.2), so I don't understand why there's this process on
2.4.7 and NOT on 2.4.6.
