Thanks for your suggestion Pierre. I downloaded gnucash 1.6.0 /i386rpm to
root/root. I find on testing (with package manager) a list of dependency
problems. As I am a newbie and getting bewildered with all the manual
reading, please can you direct me? I need gnome-libs (>=1.0.40) and find
that on RedHat 7.1 disk 1 there is gnome-libs 1.2.8-11 i386rpm. Do I install
this and if so how? When I try using package manager and selecting the rpm,
clicking the install button results in a message that I have not selected
any package.
