I never said different. I guess I should have stated that I feel the
same about any "admin" that doesn't patch a box, regardless of the
platform. I didn't think you would take it to heart.
Also, please don't forget that you are the one who made the IIS /
Apache comparison. I merely made the point that I've never seen so
much bandwidth go to hell because of a security flaw related to Linux
and/or the software running on it.

I never stated that Linux was gospel and NT was the Devil. I made a
reference to incompetent IIS admins (the heart of the current Nimda
situation), not the NT/Windows platform.
Think about this fact:
Apache is the most widely used Web server software, which runs on many
platforms. IIS is one of the most exploited, and only runs on NT.
If I were so anti-MS, I wouldn't be writing this email on a WIN2K box,
would I?
