You mean ncurses-devel is needed for "menuconfig", if
so it isn't installed but no where is it stated I nned
ncurses-devel only requirement stated is ncurses.
When I do "make oldconfig" the docs state it uses the
current .config, but it dosen't. How do I know this
the .config is set for "386" but oldconfig assumes a
"586"
