Hello,
I'm trying to install ddd for an engineer here and I'm getting these errors:
[root@petlxa02 /tmp]# rpm -Uvh ddd-3.3-1.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
openmotif is needed by ddd-3.3-1
[root@petlxa02 /tmp]# rpm -Uvh openmotif-2.1.30-8.i386.rpm
file /usr/X11R6/lib/libMrm.so.2 from install of openmotif-2.1.30-8 conflicts
with file from package lesstif-0.93.0-1
file /usr/X11R6/lib/libUil.so.2 from install of openmotif-2.1.30-8 conflicts
with file from package lesstif-0.93.0-1
file /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so.2 from install of openmotif-2.1.30-8 conflicts
with file from package lesstif-0.93.0-1
[root@petlxa02 /tmp]# rpm -q open*
package openmotif-2.1.30-8.i386.rpm is not installed
Does this mean that there is a later rev of Openmotif on this machine? What
course of action should I take to get ddd on this machine?
