You can have KDE installed, but use Ximian. Quanta (and any other KDE
software) will work this way because KDE libraries are installed.

Hello All,

I was getting "Connection Refused" when I tried to do
telnet localhost.  So as suggested I did,

1.  Changed disable=yes to no in /etc/xinet.d/telnet file
2.  I commented out the line

auth required  /lib/securiry/pam_securetty.so

in the file (by adding a # to the beginning of the line.)

/etc/pam.d/login

Then I did,

# chkconfig telnet on
# service xinetd reload

At this point I am getting,

Reloading Configuration:   [FAILED]

Now what I should do?   Kindly help.
