Dear List it was a pet project to install 7.2. I downloaded all the files from a mirror and got them on a Win machine. I installed a FTP server on it and seems it's working ok cause the folders are accessible from other comps and from mine right now.
I start the instal from a diskette. This goes well .Asks for the FTP address 10.0.0.2 files are in /pub it goes there and starts.I select the packs it formats then there is trouble. I get this -------------- package installation ----------------- File glibc-common-2-2-4-13 size 125096k then nothing more is done..it's stalled.The size of the file mentioned is ridiculous . On the RH ftp it's 8MB ..so what i need to know is why i get that error and how do i fix it so i can install 7.2 ? Any good suggestions will be appreciated.
