This was mentioned in the 7.1 release notes: Sendmail now doesn't accept
incoming SMTP for security reasons (no more open mail relays for
spammers!).

An upgrade *shouldn't* change the config files! However, it does.
Therefore I always do a backup of /etc so I can diff the changes later.

This also changed back in 7.1. Instead of telnet you should use SSH!
