hey, my problem is this: I had previously installed a 7.1 system w/ 2 disks (hda & hdb) now the hdb disk has a single partition (/home), now what I would like to do is remove an unnecessary extra partition that I added on the hda disk and move /home to hda.---I need and extra disk :-(
Before I screw up the whole system.. /etc/fstab lists /home as "LABEL=/home". do I just 1) rename /home to something else temporarily 2) remove /mypartition and /fstab references 3) mke2fs -L /home -c /dev/hda'n 4) move over old contents of /home and reclaim my extra drive _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
