Partially yes:"angolinux" is not a local user but a Mailing List
I'm subscribed to.

This sounds uncorrect here, infact fetchmail passes mail to local smtp with this
line from ~/.fetchmailrc [sorry I omitted this in previous examples]:

smtphost linux.ik5bcu.ampr.org

I'm using qmail as smtp server;my /etc/hosts includes:

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

No! I'm using qmail with its anti-relay features so I can send only to the
above smtphost.

That line is suggested by "Life with Qmail",a very detailed qmail configuration
manual...I guess I should enter something more into some of the qmail's control
files to allows sending mail to localhost...(!?)

But why fetchmail should accepts only localhost as an "error-free" recipient??

I can't because fetchmail forwards mail to localhost as default.
