Hi Mike,
I have tftp-server 0.17-9. I tried going back to 0.16-5 and also forward to 0.17-14 but neither worked :-( But I did find a reported bug that matches what I 've seen: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=55789 Well I am thinking of downgrading xinetd to see if it can be fixed. Thanks, David. : Date: Mon, 12 Nov 2001 09:48:17 -0500 (EST) : From: Mike Burger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : Subject: Re: tftpd read: connection refused : Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] : : "rpm -q tftp-server" : : If you have tftp-server-0.17-5, there's your problem. : : 0.17-5 has problems receiving files. : : You'll want to track down and install 0.16-5. : : On Mon, 12 Nov 2001, David Vu wrote: : : > Hello, : > : > Since the upgrading our RH7.1 box to xinetd.2.3.3-1, : kernel-2.4.9-6, : > and gblic-2.2.4-19, our tftpd stops working when receiving files. : > : > /var/log/messages shows this when 'put'ting a file on the server: : > : > Nov 12 09:43:12 lattice tftpd[24714]: receiving cisco-confg : > Nov 12 09:43:12 lattice tftpd[24714]: tftpd: read: : Connection refused : > : > tftpd 'send' works fine, but now, never in 'receive : mode', ie. from : > the client viewpoint, tftp 'get'ting a file from the tftp server : > works, but not when 'put'ting. : > : > Nothing else has changed to my knowledge.
