That's what I have it set to (although some automatic printer configuration tool set the printer to /dev/lp0, perhaps because I have a parallel port ZIP drive hooked up to the parallel port). I cannot even get the printer to work if I do this: cat testfile.txt > /dev/usb/lp0 Nothing happens at all. The printer worked fine as USB from Windows2000. I've changed nothing since I switched over to Linux. Perhaps I could use something other than printconf-gui?
