Ok, I'll try that. I'll also look over my kernel config, but I don't think
I changed anything and cvs also didn't work with 2.4.9 and ext3.

It just fails when trying to retrieve large messages. I'm running it with
-v -v so I know that the problem is with the network connection between the
pop3 server and fetchmail.

Yeah, I figured that out after I tried cvs with xinetd stopped. It didn't
work so I'm assuming the problem's somewhere else.
