Need help on IMAP/S. Configured sendmail. Ran "up2date imap" chkconfig imaps on chkconfig pop3s on
Using latest evolution beta. Pop3s works fine, though it does bring up the annoying fake certificate message (guess I need a certificate). IMAP/s connects fine, but seemingly hangs while scanning folders. I use IMAP to connect to the local Exchange server at work, so I pretty sure the problem isn't evolution. Messaages in /var/log/secure seem to indicate a sucessful connection. There doesn't appear to be any configuration files in the imap RPM, so what am I missing? Also, rumor has it that it's possible to run sendmail via xinetd rather than a standard init.d daemon? Supposedly this is more secure. Didn't have much luck with this.
