Hi,
My telnet/ftp takes ages to connect. I know this a resolving issue, I have no
DNS, my host.conf points to hosts,DNS. My hosts file is like this:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.2.2 bumper.localdomain bumper
192.168.2.3 win_comet
WHere my machine is 192.168.2.2
Surely telnet cannot mis-interpet the file ?. I have no error messages in my
/var/log/* files. I do have firewall rules set to medium. But this looks OK.
Previously I was on 6.2 , with no delays' experienced.
Any ideas.
