I'm using cdda2wav, and it works fine once root has loaded the SCSI-emulation drivers for /dev/scd0. When the kernel modules have NOT been loaded, an ordinary user gets this error: cdda2wav: No such device. Cannot open '/dev/pg0'. Cannot open SCSI driver. I think I could fix this by preloading the modules. But I must admit, I burn CDs as root (using cdrecord). :) I think cdrecord gives a series of warnings/errors when not being run as root. And I haven't looked into it yet. Maybe it needs to be setuid. _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
