This was covered several months ago on either this list or the Redhat list- maybe August if you want to look through the archives for information from those more enlightened than I. Anyway, IIRC, you want to do: mkdir /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/winfonts (or whatever you want to call it) copy TT fonts from windows (they're in c:\windows\fonts) into winfonts cd into winfonts ttmkfdir > fonts.scale mkfontdir in /etc/X11/fs/config add your winfont directory to the top of the list where it says "catalogue" (re)start xfs and your X session Once this is set up correctly, Mozilla and Netscape particularly are very much improved. > And, sorry to ask about something related to RH 7.2 here; but I only got to > subscribe to Enigma list now, waiting for conformation. Why is that? Anyone knows how to fix it? Wild, uneducated guess - your keyboard is not mapped correctly. SuSE was notorious for a similar problem several releases ago. You should be able to remap the keyboard from your favorite X configuration utility. > THanks in advance. > > Vidol > > > > _______________________________________________ > Seawolf-list mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
