Hey guys & gals, I'm a small time webhosting company that is looking to
add email capabilities to my offering. My plan is to use my Linux machine to
run sendmail for email.
Now I do want to allow remote users to relay with me, provided they are
my client. To this end I've been investigating my options. So far I've found
that the following components will do the trick for me:
-Sendmail - compiled with SASL libraries for SMTP Authentication
I want to be able to have each user's email address to be
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and the pop daemon will know that this user belongs to the
iridani.com domain as opposed to another domain. (I want to get away from
having to create multiple local accounts for each domain user. From what I
can determine the following will help me out:
-POP daemon that supports virtual domains
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what software I could be using or
is there a better way?
//James
