I'm using samba-client-2.0.10-2 on RH 7.1 I got a shell script that mounts the hard drive from a Windows NT Server that looks like the following:
<SNAP> #!/bin/bash smbmount //SERVER/C$ /mnt/server username=foo password=foo ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx fmask=644 </SNAP> Despite the fact that I'm giving the password, a prompt appears asking for it. According to the smbmount manpages you can give the password in the form I show above... what is wrong with it?
