Is this too difficult to achieve? All can be found on freshmeat. All are lighter than kde. All can use kde apps, so you don't have to uninstall them. All will still run kde apps slower than other apps; that's kde's fault. icewm xfce blackbox fvwm saw-something (sawfish, sawmill, sawtooth, sawitcoming, I can't remember what it is) Just look on freshmeat. Do a search on desktops and you should get a ton.
