Hi,
        Could anyone tell me how to add ip aliases without using linuxconf
im doing this on 7.2. replacing my hacked 7.1.

And im trying this time to stay away from using linux conf.

i can see on my old 7.1 box the guts is is in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts
and i copied my ifcfg-eth0:0 first group of ip's
IPADDR="ip ip ip etc"

i can see that when network is started it starts
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-aliases
which goes hunting for all the ifcfg-eth0:0, ifcfg-eth0:1 etc
and addes te aliases.

Whats the way to mod network to do this without
using linux conf to do it.

Anyone have a nice small script to do this ?

Many thanks for all your help.
