Hi !

I am running a RedHat 7.1 without LILO, I use a boot disk to fire it up, but
yesterday I updated my Windows2000 to XP, as it was just an update and I was
using a boot disk this should not have an effect on my Linux
installation.... I thought, but now I can't boot any longer, the boot disk
complains that it can't find the root.

I can access my Linux partion with the RedHat install disk in rescue mode,
but how do I make a new boot disk that works ?, mkbootdisk looks for the
images on the ramdisk created by the rescue disk.

Any ideas on how I fix this ?

Mikael
