All,
Well, We have RedHat linux
server 7.1 and users are connected thru Samba on windows client
m/cs.
Well the problem is as soon
as I make changes in shared folder of samba the permissions get changed
from 777 to read only.
I have users which
have the default group of their own.They are also members of other
groups.
In smb.conf , I have
provided the permissions to group and writeable = yes option also for valid
users.
In /etc/group file also i
have given permissions to required users.
Why are the permissions
changing!
